Once our project manager has completed their inspection, you should reach out to your insurance company to start the claims process. The first steps will be to share the documentation of any damage and schedule the adjustor’s visit. New Stage Home Improvement can be on-site with you and the adjustor to advocate for you and answer any questions you or the adjustor have.
3. Finalize Estimate & Approve Work
Once the adjustor has submitted their report, we will update our estimate to match the work specified by your insurance company. Once you and the insurance company agree to the estimate, you sign the contract and get on our schedule.
4. Payments & Paperwork
If you have a mortgage on your home, the check from your insurance carrier will be made out to you and the mortgage lender. This ensures the money is spent on the necessary repairs. Once this check clears, you pay New Stage Home Improvement for the work performed on your home.
